Privacy policy

Last updated October 2026. This is a plain-English policy written for clarity; it is not legal advice.

1. Who we are

LexGPT ("we", "us") provides education, templates and a verification method for AI-assisted legal work. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. For any privacy question, write to hello@lexgpt.com.

2. What we collect

We do not ask you to upload client or matter data, and you should not send us privileged or confidential material.

3. Why we use it (lawful bases)

4. Cookies and analytics

We use only the cookies needed to run the site and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics to count visits. We do not sell advertising cookies or track you across other sites.

5. Who we share it with

Only the processors we need to run the service: Stripe (payments), our email and newsletter provider, and Cloudflare (hosting). Each is bound by its own data-processing terms. We do not sell your data.

6. International transfers

Some processors are based outside your country. Where data is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses).

7. How long we keep it

Contact data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Purchase and tax records for as long as the law requires.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict or object to our use of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@lexgpt.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable processors. No system is perfect, but we take confidentiality seriously — it is the subject we teach.

10. Children

Our products are for legal professionals and are not directed at children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; the date at the top will change. Material changes will be flagged on the site.

12. Our own rule

The method we teach places privilege first. We hold ourselves to the same standard: we do not paste client material into public AI tools, and we redact before we share.
